Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo is one of the finest attractions in Omaha.

It features an indoor rainforest, Desert Biodome and a world class aquarium.  Visitors to the zoo should plan a whole day for their trip.  the exhibits are educational and fun.  Take the train to the farthest away portions of the zoo.  The Imax theater will complete the day.

The Lied Jungle is the largest indoor rainforest in the world covering 1.5 acres.  There are models of Asian, African and South American rainforest ecosystems with a total of over 90 species of animals in this exhibit.  One of the main purposes of the jungle is to provide education about the rainforest and it's ecosystems, as well as conservation.
